design/build problem solving
Problem THREE
This property had a boring entry and needed to have more impact. Additionally, the Avocado trees in the area enclosed by the circular driveway had frozen and died. The owners wanted an English perennial garden to go with the English Tudor architecture.< Previous Next >

The dead trees and the lawn were removed and replaced by a perennial garden, complete with a pond and fountain. As the owner is in a wheelchair, a wide path was incorporated in the design allowing him full access and enjoyment of his new garden. Lighting was also added along the paths, still in keeping with the architectural style of the home.
