design/build problem solving
Problem ONEThis home on a quiet cul-de-sac had a small porch and entry up from the cracked and crumbling asphalt driveway. The large sloping back yard was undeveloped, lacking any entertainment areas.
Removed old porch and driveway. Designed a grand entry from the cul-de-sac parking area with Arizona flagstone steps and colored concrete landings up to the enlarged flagstone porch entry. The colored concrete walkway also connects with the colored concrete border and paver driveway.
Meandering colored concrete walkway around the house with soft plantings and a seating area of Three Rivers Flagstone.
Large pavers with concrete bordered perimeter has a redwood arbor and concrete seat bench wall. Citrus trees planted on the upper planting area, around to the rose garden, sloping lawn and a private secret garden. A water feature with a striking blue ceramic pot and hot tub area is off the back entrance.
